A technician triages every piece within 48 hours of arrival and confirms exactly what we'll do before we do it.
Repaired, not swapped
Matched fabric, matched thread, factory hardware. You get your piece back - not a stranger's replacement.
Back on the mountain
Around ten working days door to door, tracked both ways. Carbon-neutral, like every Mont Goat delivery.

Seams & zips
Blown seams re-taped, sliders swapped, full zips re-set - in the original colourway.
Tears & patches
Matched fabric from the same mill batch, or a visible mountain patch if you'd rather wear the story.
Hardware
Buckles, poppers, drawcords and lace hooks, replaced with the same spec that left the factory.
Re-waterproofing
Shells stripped, re-proofed and tested back to spec beading before they leave the bench.
Free under guarantee. A fair flat rate after - quoted before we touch it. Freepost both ways, always.

Cold and rarely
30° with a technical wash, zips closed, never softener - softener kills the water repellency faster than any mountain.
When beading stops
Rain should bead and roll. When it starts soaking in, re-proof and tumble low to cure the finish.
Dry and loose
Never compressed, never damp. Hang shells, fold knits, keep down lofted and let everything breathe.

Questions, answered.
How fast is delivery?
Standard UK delivery lands in 3–4 business days - free over £75, tracked and carbon-neutral. Due to Brexit we're currently unable to ship to Northern Ireland.
What does the two-year guarantee cover?
Any failure of fabric, seams or hardware in normal mountain use - no receipts hunted, no quibbling. Damage the mountain caused is yours to own, and ours to repair.
What do repairs cost?
Nothing under guarantee. Outside it, a fair flat rate quoted before we start - and freepost both ways, always. Lifetime means lifetime.
How long does a repair take?
Around ten working days door to door for most jobs. Complex rebuilds can run longer - we'll tell you at assessment, not after.
How do returns work?
Sixty days, no quibbles, free UK returns. Unworn with tags for a refund; wrong sizes swap post-free both ways.
How do sizes run?
True to size across the range - every product page carries its own fit note and full spec. Between sizes? Size down; if it's still not right, swaps are post-free both ways.
Do repairs affect the guarantee?
The opposite. A Service Centre repair is covered like factory work - two years on the repair itself, on top of whatever remains on the piece.
Can you repair kit that isn't Mont Goat?
No. The workshop is tooled for our patterns, fabrics and hardware. Your local repair shop deserves the rest.
